Purus Electric Panel Radiator Heater Troubleshooting

How to use my Purus Electric Panel Radiator

1. Locate the main power switch on the right side of the heater and turn on
   
   
2. The digital display will now light up
   
   
3. The heater will now be operating in heating mode
   
   
4. Use the up and down arrows to set the heater to the desired temperature
   
   
5. The heater will continue to operate untill it reaches the selected temperature
   
   
6. When it reaches the temperature it will switch off and then turn back on when the temperature drops

How to program my Purus Electric Panel Radiator Heater

1. The program must be set at the time you want the radiator to turn on at
   
   
2. Press the sun Button
   
   
3. Now select the day Monday - Sunday (1 - 7) . Press the cog button to save.
   
   
4. Select the temperature using the up and down arrows. Press the cog button to save.
   
   
5. Select the the number of hours you want the heater to heat for. Press the cog button to save.

Does this heater have a fuse fitted plug?
Yes the heater is fitted with a standard UK 3 pin plug with a cable that is 1.5M in length

Does the light on the control panel stay on constantly?
Yes, the red digital display is constantly on

Can the heater be mounted vertically?
No, the heater must be mounted horizontally

Does the heater work with a plug in timer?
No the heater will not turn on/off with a plug in timer

Can the heater be wall mounted?
Yes, everything is supplied to wall mount the heater

Can the heater be switched on manually without having to program it?
Yes the heater can be used in this way. Simply turn the heater on and set the desired temperature

What side does the power cable come out from?
The power cable comes out on the right side of the heater

Is the heater suitable for use in the bathroom?
Yes the heater is splashproof as is IP24 rated

What size room will this electic heater cover?
The heater has coverage up to a 23mX23m room.

My Purus Electric Panel Heater screen won't switch on.
Make sure the main on/off switch is manually turned on. This is located on the right hand side

My panel heater is making a noise
If the heater is making a creaking sound this is nromal and is due to expansion and contraction of the metalwork inside the heater as it warms up and cools down.

My heater is producing a smell?
If the heater has just been installed and is producing heat for the first time, it is normal to notice this due to the materials first use. With continued regular use the smell will no longer occur.

My Purus Electric Radiator Heater has arrived damaged
