How to use my Futura 2000W Electric Patio Heater

  1. Turn on the heater sing the main power switch on the right side of the heater

  2. Using the remote control point it in the direction of the heater and press the red power button

  3. To select the head mode use the remote control and select 750W, 1500W or 2000W depending on desired temprerature.

  4. To turn the heater off point the remote control in the direction of the heater and press the red power button

Is the heater waterproof/ rainproof?
Yes this item is waterproof and has a IP rating of IP65

Are fixings supplied so it can be fitted to a wall?
Yes, the heater is supplied with necessary brackets and fixings

How much does the heater cost to run?
Depending on local tariffs somwehere between 30-40P per hour.

What side of the heater is the cable on?
The cable comes from the right side when looking at the heater from the front

Can this heater be monted vertically?
No, the heater must be mounted horizontally only.

How long is the power cable?
The power cable is 1.5m long

Is the heater postion adjustable?
Yes the heater can be adjusted by tiliting it up and down

Can thies be used indoors?
Yes, this can be fitted indoors as long as the fitting instructions are adheard to

Will the heater work with am external timer?
No, the heater will only operate with the supplied remote controls. 

 

Futura 2000W Electric Patio Heater Troubleshooting

The red light is flashing on the heater but it wont heat up?
Using the remote control press the power button and the light will change to green then select the power setting and the heater will turn on. Make sure to remove any plastic from the the battery on the remote control. 

My heater is making a noise?
If the heater is making a creaking sound this is very normal and is due to expansion and contraction of the metalwork as the heater warms up and cools down. 

The heater is producing a smell?
If the heater has just been installed and is producing heat for the first time, it is normal to notice this due to the materials first being used. With continued regular use this smell will not occur and is nothing to worry about

My heater has arrived damaged

My remote control is not working?
Hold the remotes in your hand for a couple minutes, due to the heaters being stored in the warehouse they can become cold and not work straight away. If this does not resolved the matter you will need to change the batteries in the remotes. If you are still having issues with the remotes remove the batteries from the remote and hold them in your hand.
