How to use my Futura Oil Filled Radiator

  1. Locate the main power switch on the back of the heater and turn it on

  2. Now press the on/off button below the screen

  3. Use the up and down arrows to set the heaters desired temprature

  4. The heater will continue to operate until it reaches the selected temperature and will maintain the temperature of the room

What do they cost to run per hour?
A guide to follow is 1000W is about 10p per hour if on continousley, however these heaters have temperature controlled thermostates so would rarely be on continuousley

What warranty is on the heaters?
The heaters come with a two year warranty

How long is the power cable
The power cable is 1.45m long

What side of the heater does the power cable come out?
The power cable comes out on the right hand side if you are looking at the front of the heater

Does the blue screen stay lit when in use?
No the blue screen will turn off after a short time

Is the heater on a UK plug or a 13 amp Supply
The oil filled radiator is supplied with a UK 3 pin plug, however can be hard wired by a qualified electriction if necessary

Can the heater be wall mounted vertically?
No this heater must be fitted horizontally to avoid overheating

Can this heater be switched on manually?
Yes the heater can be switched on and off manually, then you need to set the desired temperature

Is there a child lock on the control panel to stop people changing the setting?
The heater does have a child lock function so the display cannot be played with.

My heater will not switch on from new
Make sure the main on/off switch is manually turned on, this is located on the back of the heater

The heater is making a noise
If the heater is making a creaking noise this is very normal due to expansion and contraction of the metalwork inside the heater as it warms up and cools down

The heater is producing a smell
If the heater has just been installed it is normal to notice this as the materials are being used for the first time. With continued regular use this smell will no longer occur and is nothing to worry about

My heater has arrived damaged or dirty

The screen is faulty, flickering

No heat is being produced, the screen appears to be working fine.
