How to use my Futura Aluminium Electric Panel Heater

1. Locate the main power switch on the back of the heater
   
   
2. The digital display will now light up 
   
   
3. Now press the On/Off on the control panel to turn the heater on in Free Mode
   
   
4. Use the up and down arrows to set the heater to the desired temperature
   
   
5. The heater will continue to operate until it reaches the selectred temperature and maintain the temperature

Does the heater come with a warranty?
Yes, the heater comes with a two year guarantee

How long is the power cable?
The power cable is 1.45M long

What side of the heater does the cable come out from?
The heater comes out on the right hand side

Does the blue screen always stay lit up during use?
No, the screen will go dark after a period of time

Does the heater come with a plug or a 13 amp spur supply?
The oil filled electric radiator is supplied with a 3 pin plug but can be wired by a qualified electrician if necessary

Can this heater be wall mounted vertically?
No, this heater must be fitted horizontally to avoid overheating

Can this heater just be switched on manually without have a program?
Yes, the heater can be used this way. Simply switch on the heater and set the desired temperature

My Heater will not switch on from new (screen not lighting up)  
Make sure the main on/off switch is manually turned on; this is located on the back of the heater (customers often do not see this main switch)  

The heater is making a noise  
If the heater is, making a creaking sound this is very normal and is due to expansion and contraction of the metalwork inside the heater as it warms up and cools down.  

The heater is producing a smell  
If the heater has just been installed and is producing heat for the first time, it is normal to notice this due to the materials first being used. With continued regular use, this smell will no longer occur and is nothing to worry about.   

Heater has arrived damaged/dented/dirt marks

I am missing ‘part 53’ gasket bracket from the manual
They are fixed inside the radiator already and do not come as a separate item, it is there to makesure the bracket screws on securly to the heater
